The Ministry of Health (MoH) warns against dealing with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) treatment impostors from an Asiatic country. Two of them have already been arrested and referred to the public prosecution to implement the disciplinary sanctions against them and their accomplices. Receiving information on these impostors, MoH immediately investigated the case and liaised with the competent authorities to arrest them, in collaboration with Riyadh Province and the security bodies.
In the same vein, MoH stresses the importance of not practicing any alternative medicine activity without a prior license from National Center of Complementary and Adaptive Medicine. Such alternative medicine impostors do not hold any medical qualification. Rather, they contrive some maneuvers to deceive the public for ill-gotten quick-wins. As well, such practices violate several regulations; thus, incurring financial penalties and imprisonment.
