According to Al-Baha Health Affairs, the operating rooms of the King Fahad Hospital's Cardiac Center is being developed and enhanced with cutting-edge medical appliances and smart high-technologies. Hence, the provision of funds has been made. The operating rooms are designed according to the latest world-class specifications. This will help end the sufferings of Al-Baha cardiac patients seeking treatment outside the region.
By Allah's Grace, in the past seven months, the Center performed 150 diagnostic and therapeutic catheterizations, in addition to installing medical stents using the latest medical advancements in the field. The Center features one of the world's hi-tech catheterization labs. It also prides in an elite of top qualified consultants in diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization, as well as open-heart surgery.
It is noted that Al-Baha Health Affairs had many achievements over the past months, including re-accreditation of King Fahd Hospital - Al-Baha by SCFHS as a training center under the Saudi Certification Programs, the accreditation of the regional lab and blood bank in Al-Baha by CBAHI, in addition to resolving some health projects difficulties in the region; mainly working to operate Al-Mekhwah Hospital and resuming work to set up Al-Baha Dental Center.
