Rabegh General Hospital Receives Patients after Infrastructure Development Completed
04 February 2018

According to Jeddah Health Affairs, Rabegh General Hospital has resumed receiving patients after its infrastructure development was completed. The new developments, including  total rehabilitation of the hospital, feature outstanding add-on components. The hospital was completely delivered by the contractor. This rehabilitation covered all departments and specialties, including inpatient renal dialysis unit, emergency sections, operations, lab, radiology, maternity and children, outpatient clinics and much more.

On the other hand, the hospital has launched intra-center referral program, whereby patients visiting healthcare centers will be able to book hospital appointments directly at the center. Then, the patient receives an auto SMS on his mobile to facilitate his appearance at the specified date and time.

It is noteworthy that the MOH has launched a daily specialization-based e-Waiting List for surgical operations on its online portal. The list features the MOH's hospitals, along with surgical specializations and corresponding waiting days respectively. The list also includes five levels of waiting days, from one to 180 days. By launching this initiative, MOH aims to update all patients and beneficiaries of services provided by its health facilities on the developmental efforts to boost performance levels, and to provide high quality services to satisfy and meet the health needs of citizens.
