Makkah Health Affairs has signed a cooperation agreement with Al-Zaidi Chair of Research in Rheumatic Diseases at Umm Al-Qura University (UQU). The agreement aims to organize courses and workshops to develop the competencies and skills of primary healthcare centers' doctors in rheumatology. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease and one of the main factors causing motor disability if not diagnosed and treated properly.
The Affairs is keen to develop the scientific experiences and clinical skills of its doctors at the primary healthcare centers to enable early diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis symptoms and early referral of patients to counseling centers in order to get early treatment without complications.
