According to statistical data disseminated by Bisha Health Affairs, over the past year, Bisha hospitals received 628,682 patients (432,509 at emergency departments and 196,173 at outpatient clinics), in addition to performing 7,971 surgeries.
Being the reference hospital in the region, King Abdullah Hospital-Bisha (with a 365-bed capacity) received most patients, with 215,322 cases (133,659 at emergency department and 81,663 at outpatient clinics) and 17,162 inpatients. Also, Tathleeth Hospital (with a 110-bed capacity) received 136,378 patients (18,061 at outpatient clinics and 118,317 at emergency department), in addition to conducting 432 surgeries. Besides, Sabt Al-Alaya Hospital (with a 100-bed capacity) received 89,518 patients (64,957 at emergency department and 24,561 at outpatient clinics), in addition to 460 surgeries done.
Furthermore, Al-Bashayer Hospital (with a 50-bed capacity) received 85,265 patients (51,272 at emergency department and 33,993 at outpatient clinics), in addition to doing 286 surgeries. Besides, Tbalah Hospital (with a 50-bed capacity) received 75,076 (16,424 at outpatient clinics and 58,652 at emergency department), as well as 165 surgeries. Also, the Kidney Center of the hospital has been launched with a 50-bed capacity.
Over the same period, the Rehabilitation and Mental Health Hospital (with a 100-bed capacity) received 27,123 patients (21,471 at outpatient clinics and 5,652 at emergency department) and 105 inpatients. It is noted that Bisha features 84 primary healthcare centers, while the work is currently underway to launch new four centers, Allah Willing.
