The Ministry of Health (MOH) is ready to participate in King Abdulaziz Camel Festival 1439H., by preparing a number of its health facilities in Riyadh to provide healthcare for participants and visitors during the festival, through a 24/7 clinic complex inside the festival area. The complex includes triage, preventive, therapeutic, psychiatric clinics, in addition to a mobile clinic for emergency cases. Likewise, 3 healthcare centers, adjacent to the festival, have been geared up, namely: Rimah Healthcare Center, Al-Hafnah Healthcare Center and Al-Rumhiyah Healthcare Center. They all will operate 24/7.
According to MOH, Rimah General Hospital, near the festival area, has also been prepared to receive medical cases 24/7 throughout the festival. Also, MOH's participation includes awareness and education messages to camel owners and visitors. In the same vein, MOH's teams continue visiting camel barns to vaccinate individuals in direct contact with camels against influenza.
In addition, 7 emergency teams are provided, in addition to a specialized team to transport infected cases.
MOH's participation reflects its support to the festival, besides activating the concept of social partnership and maintaining the health and safety of all.
