Over 72,404 Patients Served by King Saud Chest Diseases Hospital-Riyadh Last Year

According to Riyadh Health Affairs, over the past year, King Saud Chest Diseases Hospital served 72,404 patients. A statistical report showed that the hospital received 9,938 cases at outpatient clinics, including 8,393 Saudis (3,806 males and 4,587 females) and 1,545 non-Saudis (951 males and 594 females), 5,942 at Tuberculosis Control Unit (TBCU), including 2,178 at TB control clinic, 2181 at patient-contacts clinic, as well as 28,079 at medical fitness unit, including 16,151 Saudis (11,901 males and 4,250 females) and 11,946 non-Saudis (5931 males and 6015 females).

King Saud Chest Diseases Hospital is one of the first and leading hospitals specialized in the treatment of TB and chest diseases, serving patients with TB, chest and kidney diseases. The new building of the hospital, established east of Riyadh, has operated since 1424H., with a 200-bed capacity.
