Al-Qassim: More than 6,000 Patients Served by Consultation Clinics Program

According to a recent statistical data disseminated by Al-Qassim Health Affairs, over the past year (1438H.), the Consultation Clinics Program at peripheral hospitals served 6,270 patients. “With the participation of 10 hospitals, the program has enhanced 15 hospitals across the region, serving 6,270 patients (including 3,635 new cases) through 414 facility-based specialized clinics”, stated Al-Qassim Health Affairs.
 

MOH also added that 667 patients have been referred to reference hospitals to complete the necessary treatment, due to their health conditions, pointing out that these clinics feature 14 specializations, including dermatology, ophthalmology, ENT, urology, rheumatism, nephrology, cardiology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, neurosurgery, endocrinology.

 

It is noteworthy that Consultation Clinics Program has been developed to serve patients close to their residences, and has been enhanced with consultants from reference hospitals.
