Tabuk Health Affairs has paid field visits to 1,231 schools, for boys and girls, at all school levels. The visits aim to ensure that schools are connected with the adjacent health center within the neighborhood, and that health services (therapeutic and preventive) are provided to students, males and females, to update them on school health programs. During the field visits, school environment, canteens, both quality and safety of meals served to students have been inspected.
It is noteworthy that health services are provided to citizens and residents through 12 hospitals with a capacity of 2,050 beds, in addition to 83 health centers. Likewise, 206 surgical operations have been conducted at the region's hospitals during the last month, as well as 136 one-day surgeries.
