The Ministry of Health (MOH) has launched today, Monday, morning, specialized healthcare clinics at Shu‘bat Al-Mubarraz Healthcare Center in Al-Ahsa, the matter which represents a paradigm shift in the provision of specialized medical care through healthcare centers by highly qualified medical cadres in five specialties, namely: Family Medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Internal Medicine and General Surgery. The launch of these clinics comes in line with the MOH’s directives to activate the role of healthcare centers and support them with consultant physicians in all significant specialties; in an endeavor to provide all medical and therapeutic services to patients and to reduce the burden of going to hospitals. This will also contribute to reducing the waiting periods for patient appointments at hospitals.
It is worth mentioning that the inauguration of these clinics is reckoned the second stage of the counseling clinics in the governorate, which included Al-Bandaria Healthcare Center, Al-Salehia Healthcare Center, Al-Jafr Healthcare Center, Mahasin Healthcare Center and Shu‘bat Al-Mubarraz Healthcare Center.
