Successful Implantation of Anterior Cruciate Ligament with Telescope at King Khalid Hospital in Tabuk
23 March 2017
A medical team at King Khalid Hospital in Tabuk managed to implant the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee with a telescope, on a patient who was suffering from pain and instable knee for several years, as a result of a sport injury. The medical team has succeeded in treating the cartilage rupture and implanted the anterior cruciate ligament with a telescope.

It is noteworthy that scientific studies have proved that treatment of the tear of the meniscus and implanting the cruciate ligament using a telescope yields better results than the conventional surgical treatment. It also makes it possible for the patient to walk on his foot the next day of the surgery and facilitates his quick return to normal life.
