His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih has visited yesterday, Tuesday, the Specialized Medical Clinics Complex in the city of Thuwal. This Complex, which was established by the Saudi Aramco within the framework of the city's development project, will provide primary, preventive, therapeutic and promotional health care for people of Thuwal.
Al-Falih expressed his pleasure at the opening of such complex in the City of Thuwal, highlighting that the health development in the Kingdom will keep on covering all regions of our beloved country. He also extended his thanks to His Highness the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah region, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, for launching the Complex as part of the city's development project, meanwhile underling that the establishment of such complex, which includes clinics, diagnostic services and a reception of emergencies, will achieve s a paradigm shift in the health services in the region.
The two-story building in Thoul is fully equipped and integrated complex with clinics and emergency sections, to provide specialized therapeutic and diagnostic services, in collaboration and coordination with hospitals through the consulting clinics and ambulance transport for all age groups living in Thuwal and Al-Qudhaima. Besides, the Complex provides other services, including the specialized clinics, vaccination, healthy child clinic, maternity and children clinic, chronic diseases clinic, elderly care clinic, and dialysis, as well as diagnostic services such as radiation, laboratory, mammogram, labor screening, employment screening and physical fitness screening. In addition the Complex provides supportive services such as pharmacy and infection control. Also the Complex will receive emergency cases.
The Complex has 48 highly qualified and experienced consultants, specialists, physicians and nurses, and it is equipped with the best high-quality global medical devices.
