15 October 2015
Page Content
In reference to the news published in some newspapers and websites about the infection of four female clean workers of a company under contract with Princess Noura bint Abdurrahman University (PNU) in Riyadh, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that these cases have been diagnosed; they all live in one house, east of Riyadh.
The MOH pointed out that, according to the epidemiological surveillance, infection took place inside the said three-room apartment where 36 female workers dwell. However, by the grace of Allah, no cases have been reported amongst the female students of PNU.
Finally, the Ministry highlighted that the patients have been quarantined, and the other housemates have been ordered not to go to work during the MERS-CoV incubation period, over which period they shall be followed up medically at home.
