His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, has lauded the unstinting support granted by the Saudi Government, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, May Allah protect him, to the health sector. In a press statement he made upon signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a specialized company to construct a national factory for blood plasma products, Al-Falih highlighted that this MOU reflects the keen interest shown by the wise leadership in the health sector, and provision of health care for the noble citizens.
Within the same vein, Al-Falih pointed out that this MOU comes in line with the gracious Royal Directives, prioritizing the localization of blood plasma products industry. Hence, a state-of-the-art factory is to be built in an endeavor to promote the national drug safety. He also indicated that this project will contribute, Allah willing, to honing skills of health workers dealing with the blood products, as well as achieving technology transfer in this vital area.
Finally, Al-Falih has extended his thanks to the Public Investment Fund (PIF), for supporting this national project, meanwhile praying for Allah Almighty to attain the desired objectives of this project.
