18 September 2015
The Nursing Committee of the Assistant Agency for Supportive Medical Services is done with following up and checking on the final preparations of health utilities and facilities in the Hajj sites.

This was declared by the Assistant Deputy Minister for Supportive Medical Services, Dr. Munira Hemdan al-Esseimi, who said that the team has checked on readiness of nursing staff at all locations through a nursing committee encompassing nursing subspecialties: quality, intensive care, hospital nursing management, and public health.

She said that the Committee has commenced its work early enough. That is because the team, from the very beginning, has been keen to intensify daily field trips.

It's noteworthy that the Nursing Committee in Hajj is preparing and following up all health facilities, and making sure that healthcare quality standards are well put into effect at such facilities. To that end, high-quality nursing services are offered, in line with the technical standards necessary for the satisfaction of beneficiaries.

The Committee is currently organizing a number of training session in the facilities located in the Holy Sites. Furthermore, the committee members are finished with the final revision of some fundamentals and guidelines of clinical nursing activities. All locations will be directed to be provided through accredited training programs for nursing technical staff, in preparation for serving pilgrims.
