MOH Reaffirms Importance of Adherence to its Health Requirements

The Ministry of Health has indicated that it will continue its preparations for the Umrah season with further preventive measures, precautionary procedures and intensifying the activities and events of the health awareness. It has reaffirmed the The necessity of adhering to the requirements of health and vaccinations that have already been announced by the Ministry and sent to the embassies of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and representations abroad, so as to cope accordingly when issuing visas of Hajj and Umrah.
 
The MOH's Command and Control Center has explained that all arrivals to the Kingdom to perform Umrah must adhere to the preventive measures and health requirement in order to limit the spread of the Middle East Respiratory Virus Corona (MERS-CoV) which include adherence to the general hygiene like washing hands with water and soap or disinfectant particularly after coughing and sneezing and use of a handkerchief when coughing or sneezing, then get rid of it in waste basket, avoiding touching your eyes and nose with your hand as much as possible and avoiding direct contact with persons infected with respiratory symptoms.
 
On the other hand, MOH has advised all citizens and residents wishing to travel abroad to abide by the health guidance and medical advices issued by the Ministry and also committing to the restrictions and requirements issued by the Ministry, in order to maintain their health and protecting them, Allah willing, against various diseases and epidemics, as well as visiting the nearest health center in cities and provinces and airports when having any respiratory symptoms such as throat pain, cold, coughing and fever.
 
MOH has called uponeveryone to be careful to eating clean foods and beverages prepared in accordance with the general hygiene standards, so as to avoid food poisoning cases, and the importance of taking the necessary medicines and vaccines.
