30 Continuing Medical Training Hours Accredited by SCHS for the Saudi Health Exhibition and Conference-2013

The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) has accredited 30 hours of continuing medical training for the Saudi Health Exhibition and Conference-2013, which are to be organized by the Ministry of Health (MOH) at Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC) over the period from 12th to 14th May, 2013 (corresponding to 2nd to 4th Rajab, 1434 H) . The conference aims to support the health sector through the specialists’ participation in achieving the development target, as well as providing the opportunities of communication and realizing the products, services and solutions of the international companies; in an endeavor to promote the levels of the health services provided to citizens. 
 
The MOH Deputy Minister of Health for Supply and Engineering Affairs, Dr. Salah bin Fahd Al-Mazrou, has pointed out that a variety of specialized sessions and  lectures are to be held at the conference, including some of the recent prominent topics at the international medical arena such as: Cardiac Diseases Conference, the Annual Meeting for the Saudi Society of Medical Radiological Technologists (SSMRT), the non-communicable diseases, imaging and diagnostics, the medical laboratories, the biomedical engineering and nursing.
 
Dr. Al-Mazrou has expounded that invitations had been sent to all health sectors, including the private sector to participate in this conference for the public interest, Allah willing. He further indicated that the exhibition annexed to the conference is reckoned an opportunity to review the systems, infrastructure, facilities of the health care sector and the hospitals. The conference and exhibition will be attended by a wide range of visitors and exhibitors from all over the world; in order to facilitate the development of the joint business opportunities.
 
Moreover, the Exhibition allows direct access to the latest developments in the field of the medical industry worldwide; thus establishing strategic partnerships between the sector specialist at the local and international levels, as well as contributing to bridging the gap between consumers and manufacturers. It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health (MOH) attaches great attention to the exhibition which is expected to play a key role in supporting the continued development to the health care services in the Kingdom, and to help achieve the vision of the Kingdom’s readiness in terms of the medical services and hospital in the future.
 
Within the same vein, Dr. Salah mentioned that the exhibition is deemed to be the largest international health care event in the Kingdom, providing a comprehensive communication platform designed to complement the efforts initiated by the government in order to promote the health care sector.
