A Clinical Pharmacist Interviewed at “Your Health in Ramadan” Program

Dr. Sara Al-Youssef, a consultant of clinical pharmacy at King Fahad National Guard Hospital, underscored the importance of the most appropriate remedies, and keeping a close eye on the treatment process, as well as making sure that there aren't any drug interactions, or between drugs and food. She also paid thorough attention to reducing the risks of using some drugs (such as side effects).
 
This interview was made at the MOH Media Information and Health Awareness Center, within the framework of the program dubbed: “Your Health in Ramadan”. Dr. Sara received callers' questions and inquiries, in the field of clinical pharmacy, and prepared apt answers for them.
 
Every day in Ramadan, the Center will be interviewing a constellation of doctors specialized in various medical specialties, to receive people's questions and inquiries through the toll-free number: 8002494444, and social networks (Twitter) from 1 to 3 pm. It is basically intended to highlight the importance of a well-arranged dosing system, and provide medical tips and consultations during the holy month.
 
Next Saturday, 4th August 2012, the Center will be interviewing Dr. Asmaa Al-Sa'doon, a consultant physician of obstetrics and gynecology.
 
On Sunday, 5th August 2012, the Center will have Dr. Amal Kenana, a clinical nutritionist. While on Monday, 6th August 2012, the interview will be with Dr. Sattam Al-Anzi, a consultant physician of emergency medicine. On Tuesday, 7th August 2012, the Center will make an interview with Dr. Mustafa Youssef, a cardiologist at King Fahad Medical City (KFMC). On Wednesday, 8th August 2012, there will be an interview with Dr. Mohamed Al-Deghaither, a consultant physician of family medicine.
