The Minister of Health Approves the MOH Employees' Annual Movement
05 December 2011
Page Content
His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Bin AbdulAziz Al Rabeeah has approved the MOH employees’ annual movement to be carried out twice a year. The movement could be within the region or province, or it could occur between the different health affairs directorates. The Ministry is keen to achieve the principle of justice among the Ministry staff who wish to move within the region or between health affairs directorates, in accordance with a clear mechanism and standards for transferring employees to available jobs in a fair and equal manner. Directorates should update the staff data in its personnel system to ensure justice and achieve the employees’ movement requests as much as possible. Also, special movement standards have been set for special cases.
Due to the Ministry’s dedication to ensure compliance with the movement mechanism, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has formed a committee to consider movement applications in every directorate, in addition to forming a committee in the Ministry to consider the grievances that may arise after the issuance of movement resolutions, noting that regions and provinces will transfer employees according to available jobs in two periods:
The first movement period would be from 1/5 to 30/5 of each year, whereas the second movement period would be from 1/11 to 30/11. The Ministry has informed all directorates of the importance of registering the hiring date of their transferred staff within up to 15 days from the date of issuing the movement resolutions.
