Minister of Health Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel has embarked on an official visit to Greece, where he is scheduled to meet Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis and leaders of the pharmaceutical industry. He will also visit Greek pharmaceutical companies to explore opportunities for enhancing cooperation in pharmaceutical research, development, and local production.
AlJalajel said that the visit reflects the depth of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Greece, seeks to enhance collaboration in shared areas, and lays the foundation for future partnerships that promote innovation and advance the healthcare sectors in both countries.
The visit will also highlight healthcare services, including emergency medical response, telemedicine applications, and virtual healthcare solutions.
It also aims to boost bilateral relations to improve public health in both nations and support the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program in line with the Saudi Vision 2030. This includes enhancing healthcare efficiency by leveraging international expertise in the health sector and exploring cooperation in fields such as virtual medicine, ambulance services, digital health, and improving healthcare services on tourist islands
