His Excellency Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, met with the World Health Organization Chief, Dr. Tedros, while he was heading the Kingdom's delegation participating in the meetings of the joint finance and health ministers of the G20, held on Friday and Saturday in India.
During the meeting, bilateral conversations were exchanged, health conditions were discussed, and the WHO role in the outputs of the current presidency and the upcoming Brazilian presidency on health issues were discussed. The delegation also discussed the continuation of the outputs of the Kingdom's presidency regarding digital health and patient safety, as well as preparedness, readiness, and response to health emergencies.
