A successful Laparoscopy Operation for a Pilgrim in the "MOH Convoy" then "Stood at Arafah and Ate the Hadi'e"Ministry of Health stated that the medical team at King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah restored hope to an Algerian pilgrim in his sixth decade of life.

Ministry of Health indicated that after reviewing all the patient’s medical examinations and reports; The medical staff decided to perform a microscopic surgery of the bile ducts, as the patient was suffering from an inflamed gallbladder with gangrene, in addition to inflammation around the liver and blood poisoning.
MOH stated that the medical team performed a microscopic endoscopy of the bile ducts under general anesthesia and by using x-rays, the bile duct valve was opened and a plastic stent was implanted to successfully bridge the leaking area without any complications.
MOH confirmed that the patient is in a good health condition, and after his condition stabilized, he was able to complete the rituals of Hajj through the MOH convoy.
