Medical teams at the Health Control Center at Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah managed to save the life of an Indonesian woman whose heart stopped after the plane landed on the airport runway.
Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Health Cluster stated that the medical teams at the Health Control Center received a report stating that there was a case of coma inside the international arrival hall, and after the case arrived at the center and conducted medical examinations for it - which showed that the heart had stopped - immediately, the medical team began cardiopulmonary resuscitation twice until the pulse was restored, all praises be to Allah, and after the condition stabilized, she was transferred to hospital to complete the medical examinations.
It is worth noting that the Health Control Center at Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport has received 90,104 pilgrims since the beginning of the season through the main center and temporary health units inside the airport, indicating that 87,857 pilgrims benefited from the preventive services provided thereby.
The cluster indicated that the number of beneficiaries of treatment services reached 2,218 patients, of whom 29 cases were referred to the region’s hospitals to complete the treatment plan for them.
