Praise be to Allah, a medical team at the Department of Organs Unit at King Khalid Hospital in Tabuk, in cooperation with the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, succeeded in performing a surgery that took more than 6 hours to transfer the organs of a brain-dead person because of severe cerebral hemorrhage resulted from high blood pressure, which caused him brain death. The medical team supervising the case confirmed that its members were transferred after the approval of the relatives and confirmation of death according to the national protocol for diagnosing brain death for the benefit of four patients who needed a right kidney transplant for a patient in King Salman Hospital in Tabuk, as well as a left kidney transplant with the pancreas for one patient at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Center research in Riyadh.
