Minister Of Health Inspects the Workflow of Health Facilities in The Central Region and Visits the Saudi Red Crescent Center

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd Abdulrahman Al-Jalajil, inspected yesterday evening several health facilities in the central region, in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, to follow up on their workflow, during the second half of the blessed month of Ramadan 1444H. The inspection tour included the emergency services of Ajyad General Hospital, the central hospital in the Holy Mosque of Makkah and the primary healthcare centers in the Holy Mosque, as all hospitals in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and their affiliated health facilities are fully prepared and ready to provide health services to patients, including families, pilgrims, and visitors. According to the plan prepared for it during the blessed month of Ramadan, which witnesses a doubling of the number of recipients of health services, with the follow-up and supervision of the Ministry of Health and the support of the wise leadership, to provide the best health services that reflect the care and concern of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the safety and health of the people and pilgrims. His Excellency also visited the centers of the Saudi Red Crescent in the Holy Mosque of Mecca and was briefed on the capabilities provided by the Red Crescent Authority, to serve the pilgrims and visitors, listening to an explanation of the new service "Bicycles", one of the ideas developed this season within its ambulance fleet. Al-Jalajel expressed his happiness with what he witnessed of the great development in the Authority's services, stressing that the health sectors, including the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, work in one trench and hand in hand with the rest of the government sectors for the security, safety, and service of the guests of Allah. It is worth noting that Makkah Al-Mukarramah hospitals and their health facilities, especially the central region, received many sick and emergency cases during the first ten days of Ramadan, as they include all the needs of medical, nursing and ambulatory cadres and medical supplies, to provide health services to patients. In the third season of the gradual return of pilgrims after the global pandemic, Covid 19, as the blessed month of Ramadan 1444 AH witnessed a remarkable increase in the numbers of pilgrims from inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in line with an integrated system of services that guarantee the performance of their rituals in safety, security, health and reassurance.​
