MOH hospitals in the Qassim region and Hafr Al-Batin governorate received (57) newborns per day during the past six months, as the number of births reached (10,276).
The Ministry of Health said: Hospitals in Qassim region provided health services in Obstetrics & Gynecology hospitals to 6,673 new births, while the number of births in Hafar Al-Batin hospitals reached 3,603 births in the same period.
MOH said: Qassim Health Hospitals registered (4726) births, in addition to (1947) births in private sector hospitals and the number of males reached (3487), while the number of females reached (3289). The total number of normal deliveries reached (3929), and the total number of cesarean deliveries reached(2556).
MOH also pointed out that number of male births in Hafar Al-Batin hospitals amounted to (1,821) births, while the number of female births reached (1,782) births.
