Asir Health announced development of an emergency section for obstetrics and gynecology at Mahayel General Hospital, operating around the clock, and provides treatment services to customers.
The section is equipped with full services, modern equipment and medical staff trained to deal with all cases, as it includes a reception area accommodating 10 women, an equipped doctor's examination room, an observation and hospitalization room with a capacity of 5 beds with full medical equipment, and a delivery room.
This section will reduce waiting times and provides easy access to the service and will also raise the percentage of customer satisfaction with the services provided.
Asir Health said that during the month, the section provided 1,078 services to beneficiaries in obstetrics and gynecology departments, while services were provided to 137 cases in inpatient wards, and more than 8 deliveries performed.
