By Allah’s Grace, a medical team at King Abdullah Medical Complex in Jeddah managed to save a patient suffering from acute abdominal pain. After due medical and radiological examinations, the patient was diagnosed with an enlarged left iliac artery (sized 4.5cm). Immediately he was transferred to the Vascular Surgery Section where he underwent a surgery instead of a catheterization procedure. The surgery was crowned with success; all praise is due to Allah.
On the other hand, the complex has performed 3,255 surgical operations in various medical specialties, during the first half of the current year.
