By Allah’s Grace, a medical team at the Maternity and Children Hospital in Makkah managed to ending the suffering of a 27-month-old child from recurrent brain infections due to a sebaceous cyst.
According to the medical team, the child was suffering from a headache, with pus bump on back of head, in addition to a decreased level of consciousness. After a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan, he was diagnosed with an increase in the size of the sebaceous cyst, with the accumulation of pus in the cerebellum and much pressure on the nerve tissue. A microsurgery was performed on him. The 4-hour surgery was crowned with success and the child will be under close follow-up in the hospital.
