By Allah’s Grace, the gastroenterologists of King Abdullah Medical Complex-Jeddah has successfully resected esophageal cancer (OC) from a patient under general anesthesia.
After conducting due medical examinations, the patient was diagnosed with esophageal cancer (sized 18 cm) and acute blood shortage by 5%, in addition to chronic heart disease (CHD). The team has completely resected the cancer under general anesthesia, using laparoscopy and without surgical intervention. The surgery was crowned with complete success; all praise is due to Allah.
