By Allah’s Grace, a medical team at the Maternity and Children Hospital in Tabuk managed to save a patient suffering from uterine cancer accompanying with severe pain. After due medical and laboratory tests, she was diagnosed with uterine cancer, and was immediately transferred to the operating room where they successfully removed a 5 kg tumor.
According to the team, the tumor weight affected the function of the kidney and by removing it the uterus and ovaries were preserved, and it is possible for her to have children in the future. Also, the kidney and ureters have restored their normal functions.
It is noteworthy that the number of newborns in Tabuk has reached 425, during the past month.
