According to the Northern Borders Health Affairs, during the first half of the current year, the outpatient clinics of Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed Cardiac Center in Arar have provided their services to 8,971 beneficiaries. Also, they performed 612 cardiac catheterization procedures, 37 open-heart surgeries, replaced valves using TAVR procedure for 5 patients, implanted pacemakers for 7 patients and implanted defibrillators for 3 patients.
It indicated that its health system features 10 specialized medical centers (a cardiac center, 3 diabetes centers, 3 kidney centers, and 3 dental centers), as well as 11 hospitals with a 1,410-bed capacity, and 45 primary healthcare centers.
