The Eastern Region Health Affairs continues to implement many events to raise awareness about the health risks associated with smoking and its negative impact. Over the second quarter of this year (2022), the Affairs has conducted 50 field tours and more than 10 health tours, distributed awareness brochures, organized more than 14 training programs for different ministries and authorities, held three lectures on the harms of smoking, in addition to 10 various events.
