By Allah’s Grace, a medical team at the Oncology Center of King Khalid Hospital in Najran has successfully performed a surgery to remove peritoneal cancer from a female patient suffering from intestinal obstruction and fluid accumulation in the abdomen, using HIPEC and PIPAC techniques.
After due medical examinations, the team decided to continue with the treatment plan which included chemotherapy for 6 months, and was crowned with a successful 18-hour surgery.
