According to the Northern Borders Health Affairs, during the current year, Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed Dental Center has provided its services to 24,656 beneficiaries. Also, 2,723 patients were served by the maxillofacial surgery clinic during the same period, it added.
In the same vein, a medical team at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department has succeeded in saving a patient with a 5-cm nail piercing his neck, causing him breathing and swallowing difficulties. After due medical and X-ray examinations, they decided to operate on him to remove the foreign body. The surgery was successful and the patient resumed his normal life without any side effects.
