According to Jazan Health Affairs, the orthopedic team at Ahad Al-Masarihah General Hospital has successfully operated on a patient with multiple fractures, and a third-degree fragmentation of the left leg bones, along with a soft tissue laceration. During an urgent medical intervention, the team successfully fixated the fractured bones with 4 Schanz screws. After the due medical care for 10 days, the patient left for home and will follow up with the hospital for 4 months.
In the same vein, during the first quarter of the current year, the hospital has provided its services to more than 30,000 beneficiaries, with 25,157 emergencies and 6,231 outpatients. Also, the virtual clinics have served 2,018 beneficiaries and home medicine to 600 beneficiaries, it added.
