According to the Northern Borders Health Affairs, over the first quarter of the current year, the North Medical Tower Hospital has provided its services to 17,978 outpatients and 15,474 emergencies. Also, the hospital has performed 377,440 lab tests, and 19,366 radiological examinations, during the same period.
In the same vein, a surgical team at the hospital managed to save a patient with a foot crush injury, with skin loss and severing of the extensor tendons of the foot. Immediately, he underwent surgery, the damaged tissue was restored, the extensor tendons were connected to the foot, the ankle joint was fixed, and the skin grafting was done to cover the bones and tendons wounded limb. The 4-hour surgery was successful and the patient left the hospital in a good health.
