According to Hail Health Affairs, over the last April, the Central Blood Bank has conducted 8,064 lab tests. Also, the bank has issued 503 blood units to the region’s hospitals, received 236 donors, and conducted 4 blood donation campaigns, during the same period.
The Central Blood Bank receives donors from Sunday to Thursday, 08:00 am to 07:00 pm. Also, the Bank has obtained the accreditation certificate by the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI), 2021, after successfully meeting the accreditation standards and provided a number of modern laboratory equipment, it added.
