According to Taif Health Affairs, over the past month (Ramadan), King Faisal Medical Complex (KFMC) has conducted more than 173,000 lab tests and radiological examinations.
“The laboratory and blood bank has conducted 156,114 lab tests, including a number of blood tests, parasites and viruses’ detection tests, microbiological testing, and others, for emergency cases, outpatients, and inpatients,” stated the Affairs, adding that the complex has conducted 17,706 radiological examinations, including radiography, x-rays, CT scans, bone density (DEXA) scans, nuclear medicine scans, in addition to interventional radiology (IR).
