According to Al-Ahsa Health Cluster, the expansion of ICU in King Fahd Hospital- Al-Hofuf has been launched with a capacity of 9 new beds; bringing the total number to 29 ICU beds. The expansion has been equipped with cutting-edge technologies and supportive devices. This step comes as part of the development plans, meant to improve the level of performance and expand the reception of patients, as well as providing them with the proper therapeutic services.
Within the same vein, over the past year, King Fahd Hospital – Al-Hofuf has served 123,773 outpatients and 124,949 emergencies. It is noted that the hospital is the reference hospital in the governorate, and serves patients in all major specialties, some sub-specialties, in addition to a number of specialized centers.
