By Allah’s Grace, the medical team of Prince Abdulaziz Bin Musaad Hospital-Arar has successfully ended the suffering of a patient with headache, dizziness, nausea, weakness in the upper and lower extremities, inability to move, in addition to deterioration in consciousness; due to a traffic accident.
After conducting the necessary x-rays and examinations, the patient was diagnosed with subdural hematoma (SDH). Immediately, he was admitted to the operating room; to stop the bleeding and remove the blood clot (hematoma) during a two-hour surgery, which has been crowned with success.
It is noted that the Northern Borders Health Affairs features 10 specialized medical centers (a cardiac center, 3 diabetes centers, 3 kidney centers, and 3 dental centers), as well as 11 hospitals with a 1,410-bed capacity, which are enhanced with a number of delicate medical specialties, such as neurosurgery, heart surgery, bariatric surgery, endoscopy, oncology, and others.
