The Eastern Region Health Affairs has launched «Your Health in Ramadan» Campaign, with more than 15,000 beneficiaries of its various awareness activities, which featured the distribution of more than 5,000 awareness publications in public places and malls, as well as urging people to adopt healthy habits during fasting. These awareness publications have been distributed at 30 government agencies and a number of private sector agencies and public-benefit associations.
It is noted that this campaign has been launched under the auspices of His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Region, May Allah protect him, through various activities and awareness publications published via social media platforms, SMS, roadside screens (RSS), and central market television networks. The campaign also included visiting Ramadan councils and providing brochures that contain health and educational guidelines, as well as measuring the level of blood pressure and sugar; with a view to educate community members about the importance of adhering to healthy habits and lifestyles during the holy month of Ramadan.
