The medical teams of Al-Qurayyat General Hospital, over the past three months, have successfully conducted 1,208 surgical operations, including 339 emergency surgeries, 869 scheduled surgeries, and 487 one-day surgeries.
In the same vein, a medical team at the hospital succeeded in extracting a foreign metal object from the top of the esophagus of a one-and-a-half-year-old baby. After due medical examinations, the foreign metal object was removed successfully, using an endoscope. The foreign body turned out to be a watch battery.
