According to Jeddah Health Affairs, King Abdulaziz Hospital has performed 362 surgeries, during the last month of February.
In the same vein, a medical team at the hospital has performed surgery on a patient suffering from chronic constipation that caused him flatulence and vomiting. After due medical examinations he was diagnosed with severe intestinal obstruction, and they decided to perform urgent exploratory surgery to remove the colon along with part of the intestine. After that, the patient underwent an operation to connect the intestines with the rectum for natural excretion. The operation was successful.
