MOH Signs MoU to Support Infection Control

​MOH and the Saudi Society for Health Administration (SSHA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to implement infection-control supporting services. 


The MoU includes developing strategies and infection control and central sterilization plans in health facilities. It also includes enhancing the quality of health services, in accordance with the study of performance indicators, as well as utilizing SSHA’s experience in quality, research, and health administration training and development.

Cooperation aspects include supporting specialized administrative and technical consultations in the field of health administration, in addition to implementing several training courses and joint activities in the fields of quality and patient safety. These cooperation aspects mainly aim to reinforce health practitioners’ capabilities, and conduct studies and research on infection control and central sterilization management and quality.

The MoU also aims to enhance the skills of health practitioners at educational health facilities in various fields. This would ensure that high-quality health care and staff and patient safety are maintained. Additionally, it targets implementing training courses and activities specialized in the field of infection control.
