According to Jazan Health Affairs, the primary healthcare centers in the region have served 2,303,162 patients, during the past year.
The primary healthcare centers, in the region’s directorates, centers, villages, and hamlets, provide their services through several clinics, including mother and child health, chronic diseases, elderly care, basic vaccinations, psychological counseling, family medicine, environmental health, clinical education, school health, exploratory examinations of chronic diseases, genetic blood disorders, virtual clinics and counseling clinics.
It added that the primary healthcare centers aim at ensuring the highest possible level of health and well-being for individuals. In essence, healthcare aims to provide all health services needed by individuals, including comprehensive care ranging from counseling and prevention up to treatment.
