The specialized dental center of King Abdullah Medical Complex, over the past year, has provided therapeutic and preventive services to 55,437 beneficiaries, with a total number of 85,486 therapeutic services, according to Jeddah Health Affairs. It has also provided 172 dental prostheses services, and during the fourth quarter, the center began treating 823 patients, indicating that all waiting lists during the suspension of appointments due to the COVID-19 pandemic were completed. The center also launched the dental treatment service for children under conscious sedation using laughing gas, implemented the initiative to improve the appointments of the Oral Surgery Department, as well as accessing the treatment service directly without the need to book an appointment in order to provide high-quality health, preventive and curative services to citizens and residents.
The center provides its therapeutic, consulting, and specialized services for advanced cases referred from dental clinics of healthcare centers in northern Jeddah. These services include oral surgery, dental prostheses, conservative dentistry, orthodontics, pediatric dental procedures, gum disease treatment, dental implants, root canal treatment, as well as oral health clinics, and preventive services.
The center features 44 well-equipped clinics, supported by diagnostic service units, in accordance with the highest standards of infection control in health facilities.
