According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), the status of COVID-19 immunization will be updated effective February 1, 2022. Through an infographic published on its Twitter page, MOH indicated that the immunization status will change for those who completed 8 months after the second dose. It confirmed that the status will not change on Tawakkalna Application if the period is less than 8 months of receiving the second dose.
The Ministry has stated earlier that the booster dose is important to enhance immunity and confront mutants, as well as to reduce severe symptoms in case of infection and to avoid hospitalization and death.
