First Annual International Conference of the Saudi Nurse Association Launched

Under the auspices of His Excellency, the Minister of Health and President of the Saudi Health Council, Fahad Al-Jalajel, and in the presence of the Deputy Minister for Therapeutic Services, Dr. Tareef Yusuf Al-Aama, the First Annual International Conference of the Saudi Nurse Association was launched today, under the theme: “New Horizon for Saudi Nursing Profession: Journey Towards Vision 2030”. The conference is organized by the association in collaboration with the Nursing Affairs General Department.

The conference will review a number of latest international recommendations on advanced nursing practices and their role in achieving the sustainable development goals of the WHO member states, as well as mechanisms of empowering nursing leadership and enhancing their role in developing health policies for the sake of nursing and midwifery professions.

A number of local and international speakers will discuss the latest developments in the nursing profession and exchange knowledge and expertise through virtual lectures and workshops.
Noteworthy, the conference is accredited with 11 Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and 4 hours for each workshop.
