MOH’s Health Volunteering Center will organize the 3rd scientific forum on health volunteering, to be launched December 5th, 2021 in Riyadh, under the title “Health Volunteering, Present and Future”. The meeting targets influential groups in the health fields (individuals and establishments), female and male volunteers, health professionals, representatives of nonprofit sector and social workers in private companies and establishments.
The forum aims to enrich knowledge, raise the awareness of health volunteering within community, display and honor health volunteering efforts, review international and local experiences in health volunteering, as well as transferring and exchanging expertise in the volunteering field. A number of experts will participate in the meeting, which will present working papers on the concept and culture of health volunteering, display outcomes of a comprehensive survey on health volunteering in the kingdom, in addition to volunteering disaster and crisis management and the impact of financial sustainability on health volunteering.
